DISPUTE
RESOLUTION
Club Doctors continues to receive
a steady stream of enquiries and requests for help. As well as
routine financial and constitutional issues, all too frequently we
are being asked to help with conflict resolution. And of course the
problem is “We’ve got this dispute – how do we handle it?”
How good it is to have a written ‘dispute resolution policy’ for
all to see! This can either be built into the constitution or be
adopted by and circulated amongst the Board. By this means disputes
can be avoided or, at least, brought out into the open and,
hopefully, resolved.

Club Doctors are able to advise
on dispute resolution and suggest referrals to professional
consultants where appropriate.
